Dr. Tejil Morar

Tejil Morar is a South African medical researcher whose work centres on psychiatry, physician wellbeing, and public mental health. Affiliated with academic and clinical institutions in South Africa, Morar contributes to scholarship that bridges frontline clinical realities with health system reform, with publications in regional and international journals focused on family medicine and psychiatry.

A core research focus is burnout among doctors, including psychiatric trainees and community service practitioners.
