Aspro Sumaya Mall

Sumaya Mall is a South African public health researcher whose work centers on social and structural determinants of health across the life course. Her scholarship engages deeply with vulnerable populations, including rural communities, women, adolescents, and infants, with a strong grounding in epidemiology and population health research.

Her publications highlight intersecting themes of trauma, stress biology, mental health, HIV risk, and chronic disease.
