Dr. Lebogang Maseko

Lebogang Maseko is a South African occupational therapy scholar whose work centres on strengthening rehabilitation within primary healthcare. Affiliated with institutions engaged in community-based health research in Gauteng, Maseko contributes to national and international debates on universal health coverage, disability, and people-centred care, with a strong focus on the South African public health system.

The research portfolio highlights integrated rehabilitation service delivery, user satisfaction, and activity and participation outcomes at primary care level. Through qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods designs, Maseko examines service organisation, documentation practices, multidisciplinary models, and policy alignment, generating evidence to guide more coordinated and community-oriented rehabilitation services.
