Miss Pamela Maluleke

Pamela Maluleke is a researcher whose work centers on child protection, violence research, and public health equity, with a strong focus on African contexts. Her scholarship engages rights-based approaches and ethical inclusion, particularly amplifying the voices and lived experiences of vulnerable populations.

Her research in the International Journal of Child Abuse & Neglect examines young children’s expressed feelings when interviewed about violence, demonstrating that developmentally appropriate, arts- and play-based methods enable safe participation. This work contributes to debates on child safeguarding, ethical research practice, and the inclusion of young children in sensitive studies.
