Dr. Clement Nyuyki

Clement Nyuyki is a public health researcher whose work centers on cardiovascular epidemiology in underserved African populations. His scholarship focuses on hypertension and its social and demographic drivers, with particular attention to culturally distinct and transitioning communities. He is recognized for investigating health disparities among the Fulani populations in Cameroon.

His research explores age and gender patterns in blood pressure, as well as behavioral, metabolic, and socioeconomic determinants of hypertension. By applying population-based methods and multivariable analyses, he highlights the intersection of lifestyle change, social vulnerability, and chronic disease risk in rural settings.
