Overview
Supports translation of therapeutic and diagnostic devices for nervous or neuromuscular disorders through development, safety testing and clinical feasibility studies. Milestone-based projects receive research funding and access to NIH-funded consultants and specialist services.
Eligibility
Wits may apply as a non-US higher education institution. Proposals must fit this call and the mission of a participating institute; institutional registrations and funder requirements apply.
Additional deadlines
Next application deadline, including permitted resubmissions: 28 September 2026. Submit by 17:00 local time of the applicant organisation. Call expiration: 29 January 2028. This is separate from the application deadline.
