Supports preparation of cancer prevention and control clinical trials, including feasibility studies that resolve uncertainties about recruitment, interventions, outcomes, study design or operations. An optional pilot trial may support the planning work.
Funding amount
Up to USD 450,000 in direct costs over 3 years, or USD 600,000 with a pilot trial; maximum USD 225,000 per year
Eligibility
Wits may apply as a non-US higher education institution. Proposals must fit this call and the mission of a participating institute; institutional registrations and funder requirements apply.
Additional deadlines
Next application deadline, including permitted resubmissions: 26 October 2026. The listed 25 October 2026 date falls on a weekend; NIH extends it to the next business day.
