Overview
Supports translation of therapeutic or diagnostic neural devices through prototype development, safety testing, regulatory preparation and a small clinical study. Projects must address nervous or neuromuscular disorders and meet negotiated development milestones.
Eligibility
Wits may apply as a non-US higher education institution. Proposals must fit this call and the mission of a participating institute; institutional registrations and funder requirements apply.
Additional deadlines
Next application deadline, including permitted resubmissions: 28 September 2026. Submit by 17:00 local time of the applicant organisation. Call expiration: 29 January 2027. This is separate from the application deadline.
