Supports small studies of ethical, legal and social issues in human genetics and genomics. Suitable projects include focused conceptual or legal analyses, preliminary data collection and secondary analysis of existing data.
Funding amount
Up to USD 50,000 in direct costs per year
Eligibility
Wits may apply as a non-US higher education institution. Proposals must fit this call and the mission of a participating institute; institutional registrations and funder requirements apply.

Next new-application deadline: 16 October 2026. Next renewal/resubmission/revision deadline, where permitted: 16 November 2026. Submit by 17:00 local time of the applicant organisation. Call expiration: 17 November 2026. This is separate from the application deadline.
